Projects

The EWoS – AEK 2025–2027 project promotes healthy and active lifestyles in Kosovo by increasing participation in sport and physical activity through the European Week of Sport (EWoS) and the #BeActive campaign. The project focuses particularly on young people, women, minorities, persons with disabilities and older people, addressing sedentary lifestyles and barriers to participation while promoting equal opportunities, inclusion, well-being and active citizenship.

Through cooperation with public institutions, municipalities, schools, sport federations and clubs, civil society, media, academia and other stakeholders, the project uses sport as a tool for social inclusion, community building and stronger social cohesion. National and regional activities, including inclusive community events and cross-border cooperation, strengthen participation, encourage healthy lifestyles and reinforce European values such as equality, tolerance, respect for human rights and social integration.
